Congratulations to Camille Cothron, Fan Favorite of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Designer Marketplace Before & After Designer Challenge!  We took a few minutes to talk with Camille to learn more about her background and winning design.

Originally from Louisville, KY, Camille received her BFA in Interior Architecture from the University of Louisville before heading west to Los Angeles to start her design career.  When she first moved to California, she worked for Kelly Wearstler, Inc. as an interior designer before becoming a co-host on Style Network’s Dress My Nest.  After hosting for one season, Camille started freelancing and launched her own company, Camille Cothron Interior Design.  Camille offers design services for both commercial and residential properties, and has completed projects for personal residence, model units, as well as recording and photographer studios.  Her latest project was working for the Viceroy Hotel Group on the Tides Resorts Jalousie Plantation in St. Lucia.

The design that Camille featured in the west elm Before & After Designer Challenge was a model unit for the Metro Art Apartments complex in Brentwood, CA. She designed the model to incorporate a variety of west elm furniture and decorative accessories to “create a beachy-California vibe”.  The winning design featured the following west elm products: Mirrored Block Coffee Table, Hammered Metal Footed Bowl, Dot Upholstered Slipper Chair, Safari Rug, Handloomed Silk Window Panels, Polished Nickel Rod and Cylinder Finial Hardware, Overlapping Squares Dining Chairs, Cody Upholstered Dining Chairs, Hicks Glass Top Dining Table, Parsons Console, Parsons Low Bookshelves and Acacia Serving Bowl.
