Any way you look at it, a plush bed frame is cozier and more inviting than one made of even the most beautiful hard surfaces. In creating the Raleigh Bed and Headboard, we combined luxurious custom fabrics and hardwood surfaces to give you the best of both worlds in one graceful bed.

Raleigh comes in your choice of 54 colors in four different grades of fabric, and two classic shapes – a rounded camelback and a square form. The fabrics range from hardworking twills, canvases and washed linens to more refined materials like linens,  velvets and everydaysuede™. Beyond beauty, softness and longevity, the colors of each fabric were selected for their understated, tasteful and neutral tones. That means that any fabric you choose will blend easily with existing patterns and surfaces for a cohesive look.

We keep our own staff of skilled upholsterers in North Carolina, where many of the world’s major furniture makers and artisans reside. They make each bed individually and ship it directly to you from the manufacturer. Thick padding and tight upholstery surround the Raleigh Bed on all sides, including the footrail and side rails. Nailhead detail trims the outer edges of the headboard (available separately). Exposed block feet have a hand-applied espresso finish. Internally, a kiln-dried hardwood frame ensures strength and solidity.
