Last week, we shared with you some of our top Spring Pottery Barn picks. This week, we've chosen a few of our many pieces from Summer that embody value, comfort, style and casual outdoor living at its best.

Summer is one of our favorite times of year, because as the days grow longer and the weather gets warm, the boundaries between indoors and outdoors start to disappear. Our summer collection truly reflects that.

Sandra Stangl, President of Pottery Barn Brand shares, “We’ve created a great selection of products designed to bring the beauty of the natural world into your home – from candles sculpted to look like coral to plates and table linens with seashell motifs to bedding and pillows inspired by the beauty of sea creatures.”

Our classic outdoor collections, Chesapeake and Palmetto, are perfect for comfortable outdoor entertaining and lounging. The earth-friendly Chesapeake Collection is crafted from solid eucalyptus that’s kiln-dried to prevent warping and cracks. And because we only use wood from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, it’s an environmentally responsible choice. An oil-based stain enhances the wood’s natural moisture resistance. The Palmetto Collection is made of all weather-wicker, with generous seating and style. Each collection has unique design qualities yet can be mixed together to create more texture in your outdoor space. And that’s what it’s all about – creating a design style that makes you feel good.

Creating a comfortable living environment includes laying down a defined flooring design. One of our top picks this summer season includes natural fiber rugs for both the indoor and the outdoor experience. “One of Pottery Barn’s classic styles” notes Monica Bhargava, SVP of Product Design, “the Jute Braided Rug gives a great designer look at a fabulous value.”  From $99 -$599. Enjoy all of our natural fiber rugs from Pottery Barn.

We also want to share one of our newest collections – the Townsend Coffee Table and Console. These tables are perfect for capturing and collecting summer adventures – literally! Modeled on antique typesetting drawers, the coffee table and console feature dozens of dividers that let you display personal treasures like postcards, seashells, photos and found objects. They’re crafted from beautifully weathered pine, and have tempered-glass tops that stay put at any angle while you update the display. Retail starts at $399.

Summer style is available now at Pottery Barn and we’ve created a great selection of products designed to bring the beauty of the natural world into the home. Check back in next week when we showcase summer picks and love from west elm. Not a member yet of the Design Trade Program community? Sign up to become a member and follow our updates on twitter
