west elm loves white for summer.  So much so that we've dressed our new Barrow Lounger and Wood-Slat Sectional in top-to-toe white for the season. Why do we love white outdoors?  It’s fresh, clean and natural.  It works everywhere from a terrace to poolside.  And it helps pillows and accessories pop like paint on canvas.  Arrange white pieces next to a blue pool, on an emerald lawn or atop a rustic wood deck for a look that’s pure summer.

Both the Barrow Lounger and Wood Slat Sectional offer simple, minimalist style at an affordable price.

The white Barrow Lounger has a simple profile, slim lines and a modern sensibility – all the way down to the breathable, easy-clean textaline fabric. The oversized black wheels add a playful touch.

The Wood Slat Sectional is made for entertaining.  We gave each piece (a single unit, corner unit and ottoman) a light coat of white and added thick cushions with ties. The best part is that it works in countless configurations, shape-shifting however, wherever and whenever you want.

This season's accessories come in unusual shapes and bold colors.  Among our favorites are new round and square trays in graphic color lacquered to a high sheen. Pile on outdoor textiles in abstract tile, sundial and mosaic motifs to add softness, warmth and a hint of the exotic.
