As Williams-Sonoma Home transitions into summer 2010, we are happy to share with you a sneak peek of what’s in store for design, color, texture and comfortable living with our preview.
Monelle Totah, VP of Design & Merchandising, shares “Summer 2010 is all about color…beautiful neutrals with blasts of color – coming form coral embroidered textiles and artwork. Also textures - gorgeous weaves of natural fibers make traditional decorative accessories look new again.” As we move into warmer weather and embrace outdoor living and entertaining, Williams-Sonoma Home is highlighting natural elegance and layers of natural patterns and to extend and honor the summer experience.
Our color pick for the summer season – coral! Bright, iconic and rich, coral has been weaved into the Williams-Sonoma Home showroom floor in many ways. Our popular coral embroidered sheeting, coral branches pillow and other home textiles elaborate this style. We also share the coral love in our classic ginger jar, one of Williams-Sonoma Home classic design staples, that we highlighted in the spring wrap-up a few weeks ago.
Texture is a key player in our summer assortment. Williams-Sonoma Home is featuring woven style in many of our pieces, like our classic ginger jars, urns, trays and furniture pieces. The neat thing about this style is that woven goods can really transition to all seasons by adding unique and different accessories.
As the easygoing summer season gets going, consider adding our new Hampstead desk to your clients design mix.
